Mullein helps by reducing inflammation and relaxing the muscles in the respiratory tract which helps the lungs in coughing and releasing phlegm. Mullein is also strengthening for the nerves, digestion and urinary system. Mullein has been used as a traditional smoking plant around the world medicinally, as a tobacco replacement and as an enjoyable and beneficial ritual.
Preparation: Infusion- make a nourishing cup of tea. (Use a strainer for this tea). Smoke or sprinkle onto burning charcoal.
Properties: Anti-catarrhal, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, demulcent, mild diuretic.
